Before the Storm Makes Landfall
As hurricanes approach, most wildlife scatters early. Not the white ibis. It’s known to be among the last to take shelter, riding out the worsening weather longer than almost anything else with wings, holding its ground until there’s truly no choice left.
Then, often within hours of the storm passing, before the wind has fully died down and while the rest of the neighborhood is just stepping outside to assess the damage, the white ibis is already back on the lawn, foraging like nothing happened. That’s not a slogan we picked because it sounded good on a truck. It’s a description of how we intend to show up, for every family whose home we’re trusted with.
